What is an MA degree?
A Master of Arts (MA) is a postgraduate and is usually an arts-based course that offers a broader subject selection with a focus on the humanities, social science, language or literature. What is an MSc degree?
An MSc degree, also known as a Masters in Science typically covers STEM programmes such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Common abbreviations that are used worldwide can also include M.S., Sc.M. and S.M. However, some social science subjects extend to this area as there is an emphasis on reading and being more research-based. It will also cover quantitative analysis and you will have the chance to look at your area of interest in more detail. MSc Subjects can include:
