  • UK Fee status Classification: Do I pay Home or International fees?

Like all universities in the UK, there are two different rates for ‘home’ and ‘international/overseas’ students.

As the UK is no longer a member of the EU, fee status eligibility has been changed for those coming from the EU/EEA/Swiss. This is due to take effect from September 2021 where EU/EEA/Swiss students will then be considered at the international fee rate.

Those who are considered for home fees must meet all of the following criteria:
    • Settled in the UK
    • Ordinarily resident in the UK (and have been for at least three years)
    • Not primarily in the UK for educational purposes
Students who feel they may have been incorrectly assessed can contact their university with supporting documentation.
