The UK has a leading reputation for academic excellence and according to the Higher Education Statistics Agency, there were over 538,615 international students studying in the UK in the 2019/2020 year. In the UK, a bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a Level 6 honours degree and typically takes three or four years to complete especially for students who opt to do a sandwich course (higher education training course that provides practical work experience). However, for some medical courses like Medicine, it can take slightly longer (around five years) to complete.
