To become a Dentist, you’ll need to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Dentistry. Dentistry courses usually last around five years and six if a foundation year is required. Dentistry is a competitive programme and students will need to demonstrate strong academic grades to meet entry requirements. Depending on the university you choose, students will need to pass either a BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) or the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT).
