Continuing Education
We all know deadlines are important, but missing the UCAS deadline doesn’t always mean you don’t have options. There are different application deadlines depending on your application to the subject and university. For September intake, it is possible for students to apply through UCAS up until 30 June for courses that still have a place to offer. If applying after this date, your application will automatically be entered into a process known as Clearing where applicants are matched to universities with spaces on courses. Clearing is an ideal way for you to find and enrol on to a course that still has space for enrolment. You will only be able to apply for one choice at a time through Clearing. However if you have been unsuccessful, you will be able to add another course and university. It’s also worth getting in touch with universities to ask if they would consider late applications as some courses may be more flexible than others and still allow you to receive an offer. The course search option will also allow you to look up courses that are still available.
