The English for Media and Arts programme provides students with an in-depth understanding of the global media industry and a broad view of the world of visual culture as expressed through film, graphic design, photography, journalism and advertising. The programme includes hands-on work experience and theoretical study as well as intensive English-language classes to help students develop professional vocabulary and the necessary skills to interact in the workplace.

1. Why should I learn English in the UK?

English is a very important language worldwide. Having a basic understanding of the language can be very helpful in any type of situation you may face in life, it also can create better opportunities for your future and there’s not a better place to learn English that here in the UK where you will be able not only to learn English quickly and confidently but, to explore new destinations, different cultures and history.

2. How long can I study English in the UK for?

This is based in the School you will enrol to as each School will provide different English courses. Therefore, the time length can vary. In general, courses can be from 2 weeks up to 11 Months if you wish!

3. What is the minimum age to learn English in the UK?

If you are 16 or 16+ you are able to join the adult courses. But if you are considered a Children or a teenager you will be able to learn English with our Summer camps for young learners. As well as the option for Young Learners courses within Boarding schools.

4. Are the school accredited by any UK association?

All our partners are accredited by the British Council for the professional teaching of the English language.

5. Am I able to prepare myself for the IELTS examination at my English School?

Yes, you will be able to prepare the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at your English School. Have in mind that It’s required for admissions to universities and student visas in many English-speaking countries.

6. What is the difference between an intensive English programs and English Language Transition programs?

The main difference is the time. In an Intensive English program you will experience the same amount of time as if you were at University (full-time program) rather than the English Transition program were they used the same method of teaching but without “intensive” hours.

7. Can I do an internship program in the UK?

Yes, The Internship Experience programme combines an internship in England of 50 hours or more with a minimum 4-week intensive English course. During classroom time you’ll improve your language skills as well as learn CV writing and interviewing techniques.

8. What is a gap year program?

It is a program in England that offers to international students maximised English learning with unique personalisation options, challenging academic projects and a wide variety of teaching methods. You’ll gain fluency on a gap year in England with lessons that blend interactive teaching techniques and technology-enhanced learning.

9. Will I get any support for my disability?

Yes, you can. We offer a range of English Courses that will help you to develop your English terminologies relevant to different industries (fashion, media & art , and more options listed on the English language page)

10. What is an English Language School?

English Language Schools teach international students English in preparation for entry onto a vocational course, foundation programmes or undergraduate degrees. These Courses can last from one week to a year, and teaching incorporates the key skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
